JJ Oesterle is a MSW candidate who has been working with the Disability Justice Initiative to create greater awareness of how the multiple forms of ableism oppress those within the CSSW student body, our fields of practice, and in the greater community at large. They are passionate about combating mental health stigma and respecting the dignity of those with different abilities.
