Current Actions
In 2016, a group of social work students drafted a list of demands to the CSSW administration to mitigate racism, marginalization, and bias in the school. Building upon the work of the 2016 student organizers as well as parallel student organizing efforts, we aim to ensure that CSSW and all entities of Columbia University take concrete actions to 1) address its own history of violence against marginalized communities and 2) support its under-resourced students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
