Meghan Karnes is an MSW ‘23 candidate at Columbia University. Meghan is working to be a change agent in the employee relations field, bringing empathy and creativity to the world of work. She is currently interning at the Women’s Bureau in the U.S. Department of Labor, where she advocates for Indigenous women and women in the trades and infrastructure industries, and is working to end gender based violence and harassment in the world of work. Meghan understands the importance of work and being true to oneself, and stands up for an inclusive world of work.
