Dget Downey (they/them) is a Student Advisor at the Action Lab for Social Justice. They are a second-year student at Columbia School of Social Work on the Advanced Generalist Practice and Programming track with a focus in Contemporary Social Issues. Dget has been with the lab since the beginning of their first year at CSSW. They are involved in The Lavender Collective, Research and Writing, Oral History, and Ebony Tower. The lab has been a true home for Dget during their time at CSSW. They are a social work researcher, animal lover, bee-keeper, and hockey fan! In the fall of 2023, they will begin their PhD in Social Work!
