Caitlin Yee

Action Lab Student Coordinator

Caitlin is an MSW candidate at the Columbia School of Social Work. In 2017, she graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in public policy studies and a minor in biology. She is interested in using a racial justice lens to interrogate our school, hospital, and policing systems and believes in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration to create a more equitable society. She is also a student leader of the CSSW Reproductive Justice Interest Group. In this role, she works to amplify discussion and advocacy around the right that all people, specifically POC, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ people, should have to personal bodily autonomy, to have children or not have children, and to raise the children they have in safe and sustainable communities.
